American Fork Canyon

Our breathtaking canyon is mere minutes away from the heart of American Fork. Our canyon provides an assortment of activities for any age including Timpanogos Cave National Monument, Tibble Fork Reservoir and Silver Lake. The area also includes world-class rock climbing, off-road trails, picnic sites and scenic drives. Visitors can also stay the night at the Timpooneke, Granite Flat and Little Mill campgrounds. Art Dye Park

Our community has recently revitalized Art Dye Park with new sports fields and landscaping so more people can enjoy this expansive park. Come enjoy the outdoors with friends and family. The area includes three separate softball fields, disc golf courses, soccer fields and plenty of open space for everyone to have fun. Art Dye Park is also the venue for several large-scale community events, such as the Big Show during our annual Steel Days Celebration. Beach and Boat Harbor

With access to our public beach and Utah Lake, we invite you to come visit and enjoy a day in the sun! Our local boat harbor provides easy access to the grand Utah Lake. Utah Lake provides several activities including fishing and water recreation. Local rentals are also available for paddle boards, jet skis, canoes, kayaks, paddle trikes and boats. Ask about our boat harbor’s annual passes and ask how you can enjoy Utah Lake all summer, and all year, long!

 

Fox Hollow Golf Course

Our golf course in American Fork, Utah, exhibits manicured lawns and beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains so you can enjoy a day of golf. Murdock Trail

Our community is proud to utilize the Murdock Trail. This established, paved trail winds through the suburbs of American Fork next to a clear, beautiful river — stretching from the Jordan River Parkway Trail in Lehi, all the way down to the Provo River Trail in Orem. The trail is frequented by runners, bikers and citizens going on a relaxing stroll. The trail also connects points of interest throughout the city, for pedestrian-friendly access to schools and parks.

 

Tibble Fork Reservoir

Tibble Fork Reservoir is just minutes up American Fork Canyon. This reservoir is a wonderful place to spend the day in the outdoors with your family! The beautiful recreational area has recently been rejuvenated and improved to include both a spacious beach and dock, with plenty of parking for new visitors! The area is also just down the road from Silver Creek and Silver Lake Flat Reservoir, allowing visitors to enjoy a day of boating, fishing, canoeing or hiking!

 

Timpanogos Cave National Monument

Timpanogos Cave National Monument in American Fork Canyon is a popular destination for avid hikers and families alike. With guided tours and an educational visitors center with concessions, this day-trip is a favorite among our community.
