History of The Chamber of Commerce
1947 is the earliest ledger for American Fork City, and since then the chamber has strived to promote the success of business and economic development in American Fork, Utah. The chamber has provided advice, planning and networking events to local businesses since its conception with a goal to provide unparalleled service to our local businessmen and women.
Steve Holley, president of American Fork City in 1989, said of the chamber, “Many people do not understand the purpose or function of the Chamber. It is not a social or service club. It is not a government entity. The Chamber of Commerce is an organization of business, not individuals. The members all have an interest in the future of American Fork and its business climate.”
